The old man emoji is balding, grey, and usually has noticeable age lines and wrinkles on his forehead in particular, and also around his mouth. He also occasionally wears spectacles and on the iOS version, has a moustache, similar to the younger man emoji. Skin modifiers with change the skin tone on most devices to make it a more accurate representation for the user, though the hair color remains grey. It is used to refer to a particular old man, or an old man in general, as well as to talk about grandparents in general, or to talk of someone as being wise and grandfatherly.
